Twist Fate Challenge

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if Batman was Gotham City’s most wanted criminal or if Harry Potter joined the Death Eaters? So do we! Teens ages 13-17 are invited to participate in the Twist Fate Challenge hosted by DeviantArt and Wattpad throughout the month of March and the beginning of April.

What’s the task? “Pick a story and character, and create an alternate scenario where the famous hero is the villain, or an infamous villain, the hero.” -DeviantArt.com

What are your options? Your submissions can be written stories, illustrations, pictures, comic panels, poetry, or anything else you can think of!

What’s in it for you? 100 finalists will receive a certificate of achievement, their submissions will be considered for publication in the Twist Fate anthology, a personalized print copy of the anthology, and credit on the Finalist page!

This competition is not affiliated with the Licking County Library. Details can be found by searching the keywords “Twist Fate Challenge 2016” in a search engine. Call 740.349.5550 or email teenservices@lickingcountylibrary.info for help finding more information on the Twist Fate Challenge.
